Surdus Remodeling was established in 2004 with a simple goal: to provide homeowners with quality remodeling work, direct communication and personal accountability.

From 2004 through 2008, Elijah worked alongside experienced remodelers and learned the trade from the ground up. That hands-on training covered every stage of a remodeling project—from planning and preparation to construction, finish work, problem-solving and the details that turn an ordinary renovation into quality craftsmanship.

Since 2008, Elijah has remodeled professionally for homeowners throughout Maryland, Washington, DC and Northern Virginia.

Today, Surdus Remodeling remains intentionally small and owner-operated. Elijah works directly with homeowners from the initial consultation through project completion, coordinating a small, experienced crew and trusted specialty trades when needed.

There is no sales department and no unnecessary layer of management between the homeowner and the contractor responsible for the project.

This streamlined approach keeps communication direct, decisions clear and overhead reasonable—allowing more of the homeowner’s budget to go toward the actual remodeling work.

Whether the project is a kitchen, bathroom, basement or larger renovation, the approach remains the same: listen carefully, plan properly, respect the homeowner’s property and deliver a finished space worth recommending.
